The Alder Residence is a luxurious modern/contemporary condo located in Tribeca, New York. This high-end residence was designed specifically for Memphis Jack Alder III, a 25-year-old bachelor. When first entering the condo, guests will be taken away by the elegant, oversized chandelier hanging in the foyer. These oversized light fixtures are continued to be seen throughout the condo. The foyer with then lead them into the living room, then kitchen, then the dining area. The remainder of the rooms are separated by 2 additional hallways. The aesthetic of the condo is a modern and contemporary clash. Furniture with deliberate lines, geometric shapes, natural elements, and bold patterns represent this modern/contemporary clash. Gold finishes are displayed throughout the condo along with a rich saturated emerald green color scheme to add to the neutral palette. The green palette was chosen to accent the condo as it symbolizes youth and relaxation. This will help relieve Alder of stress after a long day of work. Green plants will also be added to the space the add color and improve the indoor air quality in the condo.
