2021 Design Challenge Winner
On September 12th, 2021, a partner and myself participated as a team in the SCHEEL's Home & Hardware Design Challenge partnered with Midwest Nest. It was a great opportunity to be apart of for my senior year and we were thrilled to win 1st place choice from the celebrity judges!
Mission
Each team had 4 hours to create a design vignette using Scheels Home & Hardware inventory, and items were previously purchased with a $500 budget. There were a total of 6 teams, each consisting of 2-3 members. Each team was assigned a theme to inspire the design of their space, we got Bohemian.
Vision
My vision when designing this space was to create a bright, cozy, and eye catching living room with different accent tones, patterns and textures to create visual interest. After our time was up, I was very pleased by the end result of our design. It was exactly what I had imagined when going into the design challenge!
